SUMMARY

Mr. Alfonso Enrique Rosas joined the firm in 2023. He is a Counselor in the Corporate Counsel and 360 Legal Solutions Practice Group.

Mr. Rosas is a labor law specialist with a broad experience of almost 20 years in conflict resolution between capital and labor. He has held various positions within the Ministry of Labor (MITRADEL), as Vice Minister, Secretary General and Head of the Department of Social Organizations. He is a certified conciliator and mediator since 2004.

Mr. Rosas is a recognized negotiator of collective labor disputes, attending mediations such as: UNPAC-Copa, Sielas-Copa, Minera Panama-Suntracs, and Capac-Suntracs. He served as member of the National Minimum Wage Commission, the Standards and Complaints Commissions of the ILO, and head of the diplomatic mission of Panama at the ILO Governing Body.

Mr. Rosas has served as master’s degree professor in the Labor Law, as well as Labor Relations and Negotiation Techniques in Labor Law programs.
