Between 2014 and 2015, Arias, Fábrega & Fábrega has represented AWAS Aviation Trading Limited, as buyers, in connection with the purchase of aircrafts operated by Copa Airlines.

• In September 2014, AWAS Aviation Trading Limited purchased one (1) Boeing 737-8V3 aircraft operated by Copa Airlines.
• In April 2015, AWAS Aviation Trading Limited purchased two (2) more Boeings 737-8V3 aircrafts operated by Copa Airlines.

The firm has acted as counsel to the buyers in these transactions, controlling the transfer process and ensuring a smooth closing, participating not only in the negotiations and structure of the deal, but also taking care of the relevant filings and registrations in Panama, by virtue of the operations of the aircraft by Copa Airlines.
